Greetings Upper Level Candidates,
 
Welcome to the Sunshine Region 2010 Testing Season. Here is a schedule of events for 2010:
 
April 17 & 18, 2010 - C1 and Up Regional Clinic with National Examiner Sarah Morgan, Rocking Horse Stables, Altoona, FL
Mandatory if you want to attend national ratings this summer and fall, advised for all C1s and up who can attend. Priority will be given to those who are testing soon for their next National Level rating.
 
June 18-20, 2010 - C Camp
This is another great opportunity to prepare for your next National Level rating. For more information on C Camp please contact Sharon Lloyd at nickeymoose@cfl.rr.com.
 
June 25 & 26, 2010 - C3 Traditional Rating, Rocking Horse Stables, Altoona, FL
Applications are due to the Regional Supervisor by April 5, 2010.
 
June 26 & 27, 2010 - B Traditional Rating, Rocking Horse Stables, Altoona, FL
Applications are due to the Regional Supervisor by April 5, 2010. 
 
July 24 & 25, 2010 - C1 and Up Regional Clinic with National Examiner Melisa "Mo" Martel
Mandatory if you want to attend national ratings this summer and fall, advised for all C1s and up who can attend. Strong HB focus.
 
September 10 & 11, 2010 - HB Testing, Location TBA
 
November 13 & 14, 2010 - C3 Dressage Rating, Location TBA
Applications are due to the Regional Supervisor by July 5, 2010
 
More dates and locations to follow, at least two more clinics will be put on at the Regional level for Cs and up, one July 7th for HB and HA candidates, one August 14 & 15, a "C Day" and more HB prep.
 
**NOTE** Any C2 or higher level member who wishes to observe an upper level rating must contact the VRS for Ratings at least one month prior to the rating. A member who is observing a rating will also be utilized as a volunteer during the rating. This is a great way to help you prepare for your own upper level rating.

Please check the calendar page for rating preps & camps.

Applications are on the USPC Web-site under Forms, then under Testing. A club check must accompany each individual application with the candidate’s name and test title written in the memo section of the check. Separate applications and separate club checks must be filed for each candidate wanting to do both tests. The packets will go to the National Office as separate packets from the RS. Further information and details are contained in the 2009 National Testing Information.

Local Club

If any clubs have openings for their ratings tests, please send date and contact info to the Eileen Brown, the regional secretary, we will gladly share the information with neighborhing DC's.

Any club member wishing to attend another club's rating, MUST arrange this through their own club's DC.
